OpportunityAbout this opportunity: This role will support the activity of having a friendly game of pool at the Tayport Arms and
making memories. People living with dementia, their family and friends and anyone with
an interest in dementia can attend this activity group. The role may vary but is likely to
include;
-Offering a warm welcome to people who attend.
-Listening and interacting with people living with dementia, family members who
attend the group.
-Keeping up to date with Alzheimer Scotland news and our work across Scotland.Takes place: mornings afternoons evenings Mondays Tuesdays Wednesdays 
Thursdays Fridays Saturdays Sundays Minimum age: 18 Maximum age: 100 Training provided: The volunteer with have a volunteer induction training session with the Volunteer Co-Ordinator. Then ongoing training relevant to the volunteer role and corporate policies e.g. Dementia Friends training; Brain Health training Out of pocket expenses paid?
Yes - We will pay public transport expenses as long as the volunteer keeps the receipts. We will pay fuel mileage (45 p per mile) when the volunteer uses their own vehicle. These will be reimbursed monthly.Experience required: #NAME? Restrictions on who can volunteer
